The Canistota FFA Chapter has just wrapped up at the South Dakota State FFA Convention. We attended Monday, April 20- Wednesday, April 22nd where we attended workshops, sessions, and competed in various Career Development Events.

That being said, this group showed up, worked hard, and represented our chapter with pride:

• Allison Leber - 9th place out of 111 contestants in Poultry
• Katelyn Tieszen - 45th place out of 150 students in Agronomy
• Josh Popkes Jr. - 108th place out of 159 contestants in Natural Resources
• Robby Knochenmus - 140th place out of 159 contestants in Natural Resources

These results only tell part of the story. Each of these students put in countless hours of preparation, dedication, and perseverance to earn the opportunity to compete at the state level.

We are proud of these students not just for how they placed, but for the effort, growth, and sportsmanship they demonstrated throughout the entire process.
