The 6th graders have been having fun in FACS class learning about child development. They have learned about types of development and different activities for growth in each area of development. Here are some pictures of what they have been doing. They had to learn about activities that promote growth and development so of course that meant taking part in them.

The Canistota School District will dismiss at 1:00 p.m. today. The basketball games @ Hanson are posted and will be rescheduled for a later date.
Tomorrow, January 16th, there will be a 10:00 a.m. start for the Canistota School District. Reminder: There will be no breakfast served at school and middle school and high school operates on an alternative bell schedule. Stay warm!

The Canistota Lady Hawks Girls Basketball game vs. Menno has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 1st. This is a HOME game. Junior Varsity at 6:15 p.m. and Varsity at 7:45 p.m.
The Canistota Friends of Music are hosting a free will donation Soup Supper on Thursday, February 15th from 4:45 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the school. All proceeds are to help raise money for a band trip.

Out of an abundance of caution for all of our students, there will be no school on January 9th. Please stay safe
Due to the forecast and current road conditions we have made the decision to have a 10 am start. As this is the first 10 am start I want to remind everyone that we do not serve breakfast and the middle school/ high school operate on a special bell schedule. We will reassess in the morning to ensure conditions are safe for students to make it for a 10 am start. We will reach out if an update is necessary.
