NOTICE OF SALE OF SURPLUS SCHOOL PROPERTY
Pursuant to SDCL § 6-13-4
Notice is hereby given that the Canistota School District 43-1 located in McCook County, South Dakota, will offer for sale the following surplus property:
Description of Property:
2-Story 4-bedroom home located at 450 Main St. Canistota, SD. This home is to be moved by June 30, 2026.
· 11975 Ford F-100 2wd pickup
Miscellaneous appliances to be sold separately.
The property has been declared surplus by official action of the School Board and real property appraisal report is on file with the fiscal office in accordance with SDCL § 6-13-4.
The property will be sold by public auction to the highest responsible bidder.
Bids will be accepted via internet only auction until 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, January 8, 2026 via the Wieman Land & Auction website: https://www.wiemanauction.com/auction-info.php?id=1104. Payments will be made directly to the Canistota School District.
