NOTICE OF VACANCY ON SCHOOL BOARD
CANISTOTA SCHOOL DISTRICT #43-1
Pursuant to the provisions of SDCL 13-7-5 and 5.02:04:14, notice is hereby given that the following school board positions will become vacant due to the expiration of the present terms of office of the following school board members:
One (3) year term for a school board member residing anywhere within the school district to fill the position presently held by Ann Jacobsen.
One (3) year term for a school board member residing anywhere within the school district to fill the position presently held by Shannon Globke.
Circulation of nominating petitions may begin on February 2, 2026 and petitions may be filed in the office of the business manager located at the Canistota Public School between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. central time not later than March 24, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. central time.
