RFP CLOSES:  May 28, 2025 – 1:00 p.m. Local Time

Notice is hereby given that sealed RFP’s will be received at the Brandon Valley School District Child Nutrition Office located at 301 S Splitrock, Brandon, South Dakota 57005 until 1:00 p.m. local time on the 28th day of May 2025, for the Primary Food Vendor for the districts listed above, in accordance with specifications prepared by the Procurement Coordinator for the Dakota Fifteen Food Buying Group members.  Please address all sealed bids to the Brandon Valley School District Child Nutrition Office located at 301 S Splitrock, Brandon, South Dakota 57005 with attention to Andrea Kruse, Child Nutrition Director.

Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the Child Nutrition Director, until 1:00 pm May 28th, 2025, local time. Electronic proposals will be accepted. Proposals will be opened informally on May 28th and reviewed at that time.  RFPs received after previously stated time will be returned unopened. Proposals shall not be withdrawn by any bidder for a period of thirty (30) calendar days after opening of bids.  Proposals submitted on forms other than the one provided will not be considered. Electronic mail proposals will be accepted but should be received by the 1:00 p.m. deadline on May 28th. Additionally, an original sealed copy should be sent to the Brandon Valley School District Child Nutrition Office, attention to Andrea Kruse at the address previously listed.

Each respective district and their Board of Education will review the RFPs received and pass upon them at a regular or special Board meeting to be held no later than thirty (30) days following the RFP opening.

The Board of Education of involved districts reserves the right to reject all proposals, to accept proposals it deems to be in the district’s best interest, and to waive any or all informalities in bidding procedures.

By virtue of statutory authority, preference will be given to materials, products, and supplies found or produced within the State of South Dakota.
